Red/Blue Teams Canvass 100 Yard Signs before April 8 Solar Eclipse
A Braver Angels Indiana Pilot Program
Register below for free training for anyone with, or co-registers with, a Braver Angels email address such as Coordinators, Co-Chairs, Ambassadors, Moderators, Organizers, etc. This training leads up to the 2024 Eclipse after which Red/Blue pairs are encouraged to start alliances.
Local volunteers in twelve states will canvass for Braver Angels yard signs along high-traffic areas in the path of the eclipse to promote civic depolarization.

What good are yard signs going to do?
Benefits of Getting Involved
We will assemble a team of volunteers to canvas local residents and get permission to post yard signs. This is benefit #1 - Training new volunteers. Some of these volunteers will go on to create Braver Angels Alliances and be Workshop Moderators and Ambassadors of The Braver Angels Way.
Knocking on doors in Red/Blue pairs with a friendly request to put a sign in their yard on a given day opens up the opportunity to talk about Braver Angels one-on-one with our neighbors. This is benefit #2: building local relationships and visibility. Some will share with their own friends and communities and some may join Braver Angels.
Yard signs will have a QR code (e.g. website) that directs people to more information about Braver Angels and depolarizing and to donate financially
This is benefit #3 - Growing Indiana’s financial resources. 80% of everything raised goes back to local alliances and the state budget, the rest to support the national non-profit organization.
All Volunteers are needed! From canvassing to writing thank you letters to putting a yard sign in your own front yard. There are many ways to align within your own interests, skills, and time. Email Miles Eddy at [email protected] or call him at (812) 361-0067.
